ManMade (2015). Collaborating with Shannen, I produced the underwater visual effect (VFX) short film named ManMade for our final year project in Digital Animation. ManMade combined both live-action footages and 3D character animation portraying the journey of a young boy under the sea to explore the adaption of sea creatures in response to pollution and environmental changes. The project was the first underwater VFX short film produced from the School of Arts, Design, Media, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and was featured at the Sunday Showcase at ArtScience Museum, Singapore on May 2015. I treasured the time working on this project as I had many first-hand experiences from location scouting, casting, shooting, and logistics on top of the animation production.
Many thanks to our project supervisor Benjamin Seide, our Animation faculty, our beloved Animation friends, our talented cast Rosha Chandra - the actor, Daniel Chong - the D.O.P, Tobias Hoffmann - the music composer and Jared - the diver.
