DIAMOND NGUYEN

zen pond (2020). Zen pond was a personal interactive project produced during the lockdown amid the Covid-19 pandemic in France. The idea was to create a piece that carried a sense of peacefulness with the representation of a Koi fish pond. Zen pond meant to be a prototype for an interactive installation where visitors could step on a large display panel, and every step would generate waves in a beautiful changing pattern, a rippling ring radiating outward from a center that would gradually return to quietude. As a prototype, I used TouchOSC on my phone to replace signals from the motion detector sensors.
